Aceani Michelle's 2014 fall/winter collection is the outcome of different worlds colliding. The collection was initially inspired by Black Swan because of the idea of turning grace into mystery and edge. In the drive to re-create Black Swan, It was important to add difference into the collection. Incorporating herself into the collection included adding her love for the hip hop culture of the 90's and personal style. This collection is a reflection of the person she is because of difference. Black Swan was a ballerina of difference and defied the odds. In this collection hip hop meets classical and urban street wear meets couture. After playing in over 200 yards of tulle and one too many Tribe Called Quest songs a hip hop ballerina was born.
